Juicy Grilled Pork Chops

Pork chops can be dry if you do not cook them right. Truly the best way to get a nice juicy pork chop is by first marinating it and then cooking it on the grill for the right amount of time. Overcooking will certainly make it dry.
You will see in the directions to hold your hand about 10" above the chops to season. There is a misconception about rubs in cooking. If you rub the seasoning all of the meat, you will clog the pores and not get the result you want. Most chefs when they tell you to rub, it means holding your and about 10" away and seasoning you meat in this fashion.
I think you will be pleasantly surprised by how juicy these pork chops will be. Give it a try and enjoy.

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 8 (1/2-inch) bone-in pork chops (about 3 ounces each)
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Directions
1. Let’s make marinade. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, oil, vinegar, cumin and red pepper flakes.
2. Holding your hand about 10 inches above the pork chops, sprinkle on the salt and pepper, be sure to do both sides. Put the chops into a zip lock bag and pour in the marinade. Seal it properly and rotate it a few times to be sure it is coated all over. Let it marinade for 1 hour.
3. Heat up your outside grill or a grill on the stove on medium heat. Remove the pork chops from the bag and place on the preheated grill. Cook about 4 minutes on the first side and then flip and cook about 3 minutes on the other side. If you do not have a grill for outside or the stove you can do it with a cast iron pan on the stove.
