Carla Hall's Onion Flower Power
The first time I tasted a blooming onion was at a state fair in Pennsylvania. I fell in love immediately and could not get enough of them. A steak house in Kentucky named Colton’s has really good ones. I order one every time I go there.
One time I was watching the CHEW and Carla Hall was making a blooming onion, she called it an Onion Flower Power and it is true to its name. Thanks Carla for this awesome recipe.

3. Place flour and spices into baking dish. Whisk milk and eggs in another baking dish.
4. Carefully dip onion into flour mixture, making sure to get some inside the layers, (you can also sift the seasoned flour over the entire onion) then egg, and finish with flour.
